Tax Senior

Position Overview
The Tax Senior is responsible for providing high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base. This role involves preparing complex tax returns, reviewing tax documents, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
  • Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries, providing necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and team members.
  • CPA or EA certification is preferred but not required.
