Sr. Maintenance Manager  - Plant Operations

Position Overview
Based near Fullerton, the Sr. Maintenance Manager will oversee the plant operations and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment. This role focuses on leading improvement initiatives, managing maintenance budgets, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage plant operations to ensure efficient and reliable production processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for equipment reliability and performance optimization.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely execution and documentation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets for maintenance and improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through the use of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture among all team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve product quality.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the maintenance team, fostering professional development.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in plant operations and maintenance management.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record in safety management and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation and equipment maintenance best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
