Established (25+ Years) National Litigation Defense Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Complex Liability Matters in Chicago, IL
An established national litigation defense firm with over 25 years in business is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago. This Associate will have 3-5+ years of experience defending clients in products liability, toxic tort, construction defect, and both medical and non-medical professional liability matters. The firm offers a collaborative and experienced team, including senior attorneys with over two decades of success litigating high-exposure, multi-jurisdictional cases.
Offer:
$130,000 - $160,000+ base salary, contingent on experience

1,850 billable-hour requirement
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of litigation experience in products liability, toxic tort, construction defect, and/or professional liability
Strong deposition, motion, and discovery practice experience
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Active Illinois Bar license in good standing
Responsibilities:
Managing a diverse caseload of defense litigation matters, including products liability, toxic tort, construction defect, and professional liability
Taking and defending depositions and drafting key motions and legal filings
Appearing in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
Advising clients on legal strategy and risk management
Working collaboratively with senior litigators on complex, multi-state cases
