Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. We have a Chicago office, but this role would be fully remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, specifically in handling catastrophic cases, asbestos-related claims, and tort litigation. This role involves advocating for plaintiffs and ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve for their injuries.

Key Responsibilities

Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including but not limited to catastrophic injuries and asbestos claims.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development.
Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients.
Prepare and present cases in court, including trial preparation and witness examination.
Advise clients on their legal rights and options throughout the litigation process.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting personal injury cases.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a personal injury attorney.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission in IL
Proven track record in handling catastrophic injury and asbestos cases.
Strong understanding of tort law and plaintiff representation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom skills.
